Welcome!
Thanks for visiting my website!
Animals and nature have been my greatest teachers, bringing joy, love, and connection through life’s challenges. From growing up with pets to training my own companions, my lifelong bond with animals has shaped my passion for listening deeply—to both you and your canine—to help foster a truly nourishing relationship.

I bring extensive professional and lived experience working with canines, grounded in evidence-based, welfare-centred practice. I hold an ACM40322 Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training and am a Fear Free® Certified Professional, ensuring that my approach to canine husbandry, enrichment, and training prioritises choice, low-stress handling, and positive reinforcement.
As a member of the Pet Professional Guild Australia and Animal Therapies Ltd, I adhere to professional codes of ethics and conduct that safeguard the wellbeing of both humans and animals. My work spans behavioural husbandry, cooperative care, enrichment design, life-skills training, socialisation and challenging behaviours, with a focus on practical, sustainable strategies that foster mutual trust and respectful communication between species.
I am currently undertaking professional doctoral research that centres on an exploration of human–canine interactions. This includes applying frameworks such as Mellor’s Five Provisions & Welfare Aims (2016) and Fernandez’s LIFE model (2024) to ensure ethical, welfare-driven outcomes.
I actively integrate canines into counselling, supervision, and therapeutic arts practice, while also offering group training, cooperative care sessions, and individual behavioural consultations. My work is informed by decades of hands-on experience with my own companions—including a dingo from Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary, a bordoodle, and other mixed-breed dogs—whose presence continually refines my skills in observation, communication, and compassionate training.
